About My Gluten Free World Expo

In the past decade, we have travelled all over the US showcasing events.
What we learned is that we love to travel and see the world but we also learned that gluten-free options are everywhere!
Having spent the last 9 years searching out gluten-friendly restaurants, hopping from one specialty grocery store to the next week after week, and joining online blogs and forums, we finally realized that we could showcase the very best of gluten-free in just one day.

I LOVED the Gluten Free World Expo. I am new to the gluten free world and feel like a deer in the headlights. I walked through each vendor’s booth – taste the food, asked questions, looking through cookbooks and purchased new products that I now love. I have ordered online and visited shops for the vendors I loved. To me, the Expo was super helpful and valuable to my learning how to be 100% Gluten Free.

We have participated in My Gluten Free World Expos since they began, and have really enjoyed watching attendance grow. It’s a great opportunity for us, as a local Utah company, to meet our loyal fans and customers directly and hear their stories while indulging the sweet tooth. I have only been diagnosed with Celiac Disease for 4 months. It’s frustrating and depressing in the beginning when you have to give up so many things and constantly worry about what you are eating. Going to the Expo gave me hope, it showed me that there really are some delicious gluten free foods out there if you know where to look! It also was really cool being somewhere that you got to try lots of yummy food and not have to worry about it being Gluten Free. It was a little bit of stress-free eating.

As a GF Mom of three kids, it was so nice to not only sample myself, but have my kids sample as well. I knew immediately what foods they would or wouldn’t enjoy at home, plus I could stock up while I was there and got information to re-order when I ran out. As a vendor, the attendance numbers were delivered as promised, advertising was substantial and communication was quick and efficient. The My Gluten Free World Expo, held at the South Towne center on October 13th, was the most successful expo we have been a part of. The number of attendees was almost double what was expected. In addition, their ability to take care of each vendor, and make sure all our needs were met, was outstanding! It was our best expo ever!
